Job Summary

OVERALL SUMMARY

PMO Analysts will work closely with the Change & Technology leadership team reporting directly into the PMO Lead. The role supports the delivery of a complex portfolio of work within the division. They will act as day-to-day support for Project and Programme Managers in the managing and running of PMO functions and Programme governance and control activities.

The role of the PMO Analyst is to support the Project Management Team with: tracking the status of programme deliverables and milestones; supporting the control of the Programme through the Project and Programme Stage Gates; effectively managing resource forecasts; identifying capturing and escalating risks and issues; managing Project and Programme reporting; overseeing the transition of deliverables into BAU; supporting Project Managers and carrying out QA checks.

The PMO Analyst will assist the CDIO leadership team in; analysing project data reporting into the Change delivery and division governance model overseeing how project requests are raised prioritised and delivered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Governance & Assurance; Assure the completion of Change Management processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle in line with policies and quality standards
  • RAID Management; Provide proactive oversight quality check and identify potential issue escalation to sponsors and relevant stakeholders performing analysis of thematics across the portfolio
  • Business Outcomes Management; Ensuring tracking of outcomes progress updates and benefits realisation at the end of the project coaching on articulation and baseline dates to achieve
  • Change Control; Manage end to end process from raising change request collating impact assessment and receiving approvals in CR board including any Third Party vendor facilitation
  • Resource Management; Elicit and record demand and supply information updating forecast actuals and resource needs
  • Planning & Scheduling; Guide and assist in application of planning standards and guidelines such as baselining milestone levels etc
  • Roll up Reporting; Support and educate delivery teams in consistent application of reporting processes and tools and Investigate inconsistencies in reporting against risks and issues

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • Recent experience as a PMO Analyst minimum 3 years
  • Experience with a Financial Services environment is preferred
  • Ability to present and communicate information clearly
  • Understands and can demonstrate application of key PMO responsibilities methods disciplines tools and analysis techniques to monitor control and report on Programmes and/or Projects
  • Adapting and responding to changeaccepts new ideas and change initiatives; adapts interpersonal style to suit different people or situations
