Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. The Maintenance Technician will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility to ensure machinery is optimal and play a major role to operating a safe environment and ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Operate with a sense of positive energy and urgency.
- Ability to work effectively in both a team and autonomous environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude electrical aptitude (desired) and manufacturing processes and equipment repair.

YOUR ROLE:
- Communicating and working with other maintenance and production personnel to accomplish all maintenance and repair tasks in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform the required routine maintenance and tasks to keep equipment safe functional and efficient by executing preventive predictive and corrective maintenance actions.
- Learn and demonstrate competency in maintaining and troubleshooting processes and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions and breakdowns and equipment to progress through training programs.
- Demonstrates proper use of equipment observing all safety procedures and policies. This includes but is not limited to: All designated PPE lockout/tagout and other requirements of working on equipment.
- Participate in all on-site training per the direction of management.
- Assists in the basic testing/troubleshooting of facility systems including but not limited to fire alarms exit door alarms and emergency and exit lighting.
- Ground maintenance occasionally as required.
- Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- The ability to lift (from floor to waist level) push and pull 50 pounds.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on concrete surfaces with regular periods of stooping bending or sitting.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- 2nd Shift
- Monday- Friday: 3pm to 11pm
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
