Job Summary
The Role
(* This role to start in April 2026 - Shift PM)
This position will perform several job duties including but not limited to receiving picking replenishing daily and month end inventory counts. Will also input stock adjustments facilitating product transfers and cycle counts to audit and resolve inventory discrepancies and clean-up of broken cases. This person must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as the warehouse environment involves fast-moving forklifts and power jack equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibities (any combination of the following job duties):
Receiving
- Receive and check incoming products from loading trucks or loading docks.
- Properly identify received products and ensure quality of product is verified by QC tech.
- Communicate with the supervising team when products are being received to discuss any product concerns at the time of offloading and before receiving them into the inventory system.
- Offload products from trucks using equipment such as sit-down forklift or e-pallet jack.
- Slot products into inventory and notify management of any discrepancies using email.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work area always.
- Adhering to GMPs follows company safety policies and procedures.
- All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager supervisor or key personnel if they have any compromise to food safety or food quality.
- Occasional driving to deliver or pick up products from other coolers/fiber yards as determined by sales and management.
Pre-Cooling & Cooling
- Prepare and review pre-cooling equipment before use.
- Ensure the Ice-room is replenished every day. Communicate with Supervisors of any deficiencies.
- Verify that automatic ORP and pH unit are running efficiently and communicate with supervisors.
- Operate cooling equipment following SOPs for Hydrocooler Pressure Cooling and Ice Injector.
- Employees need to be trained prior to operating any pre-cooling equipment.
- Maintain Cooling Log - tracking time and internal temperatures for products in the pre-cooling areas.
- Make sure all cooling equipment is turned off completely when not in use. Check equipment periodically during the day to make sure it is working accordingly and report any problems or issues to the supervisor.
Peripheral Duties: As assigned or necessary in the warehouse or in the yard as it pertains to business needs.
Qualifications :
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2-year riding pallet jack and stand-up forklift experience
- Inventory Control experience
- Must be able to identify produce quality count and have basic math skills.
- Experience with Warehouse inventory systems including RF scanners.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision and multi-task.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- The ability to work well with others by building cooperative relationships with other departments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook word excel)
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently and work in a refrigerated warehouse.
- Must be able to work overtime when business requires i.e. busy seasons vacation coverage etc.
- Must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment involves fast moving forklift and power jack equipment.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/ English.
