Job Summary

Permanent Position

What you will do:

Ensure rigorous and proactive monitoring of customer accounts and collection activities to maintain healthy cash flow;
Analyze credit risk to support informed strategic decision-making;
Manage the opening updating and maintenance of customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency;
Evaluate account opening requests and determine optimal credit terms;
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate error-free account reconciliation;
Conduct follow-up calls and emails for past-due accounts;
Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers;
Track payment commitments and update records accordingly;
Prepare reports on overdue accounts and recommend corrective actions;
Maintain professional and friendly communication with our customers across Canada by phone and email.

Qualifications :

What we are looking for:

Education: AEC or DEP in Accounting or a related field;
Required experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable including a strong collections component;
Comfortable with computer tools and able to learn quickly;
Solution-oriented mindset with sound judgment in day-to-day situations;
Team spirit and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service;
Strong autonomy organizational skills and excellent analytical abilities;
Bilingualism (French/English intermediate level) due to the organizations nationwide operations and the need for effective communication between different regions (asset).
