About the role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Ginner to join our team at the Goondiwindi QLD site. This full-time role is responsible for leading the shift and ensuring the efficient effective and safe operation of all areas within the ginning process.
As the Ginner you will oversee and manage all production activities within your control ensuring that each task is carried out consistently and in accordance with established training and procedures. A key part of your role is to maintain a strong commitment to safety ensuring all operations meet state and federal compliance requirements while supporting a high-performing production environment.
Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Lead your shift to ensure smooth safe and efficient ginning operations
- Oversee all production areas ensuring tasks are performed according to training and established procedures
- Monitor and maintain safe operating practices in line with regulatory guidelines
- Identify and escalate any operational issues or safety risks
- Contribute to a culture focused on teamwork quality and continuous improvement
Qualifications :
Essential skills and experience:
- Background in Mechanical Electrical hydraulic fitter welding or fabrication
- Previous experience in ginning agriculture or industrial operations (preferred)
- Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills
- A commitment to safe work practices and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced physical and team-based environment
