Job Summary
This role combines expertise in data engineering Microsoft 365 development and business intelligence to deliver end-to-end data solutions that enable strategic decision-making. The position involves designing and building data pipelines warehouses and integrations while also developing dashboards reports and automated workflows using Microsoft 365 tools. The role bridges technical capabilities with business insight driving data-driven operations across departments.
Essential Functions:
Data Engineering & Architecture
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and maintain data warehouses and data models for analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity security and performance across platforms.
M365 Development & Automation
- Develop solutions using Microsoft 365 tools (Power BI Power Automate SharePoint Power Apps).
- Automate workflows and integrate data sources to streamline business processes.
- Customize M365 applications to meet specific business needs.
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Create interactive dashboards reports and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using BI tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends insights and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with business stakeholders IT teams and data owners to understand requirements.
- Integrate data from ERP and other enterprise systems into centralized reporting platforms.
Governance & Documentation
- Maintain documentation for data models reports and M365 solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance privacy and security policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in data engineering analytics and BI development.
- Proficiency in SQL data modeling and ETL tools.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 development (Power BI Power Automate Power Apps SharePoint).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse Dataverse SQL Server).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications in Power BI Azure Data Engineer or Microsoft 365 development are a plus.
- Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office and AS400 systems preferred
