Job Summary
Provide service to hotel guest rooms which includes cleanliness replenishing supplies ensuring levels of standards are met and reporting deficiencies to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable stay by the Hotel guest.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
Guest Service
19% Strip and make beds
19% Clean bathrooms
19% Dust clean mirrors
19% Vacuum
19% Replenish linens and supplies
5% Reporting room maintenance needs and physical inspections.
- Communicate in written format and or electronic device per Housekeeping guidelines the status of guest rooms on assigned station to Supervisor.
- Supply necessities on Guest Room Attendants carts.
- Gather and retain information that will assist in job performance guest needs and provide pertinent information to the user.
Qualifications :
Performance Requirements: (Knowledge skills and abilities)
- Ability to comprehend verbal English sufficiently to understand job requests from supervisor guests and co-workers. Ability to understand verbal English in case of emergency situations.
- Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
- Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions/warnings to enable the safe application of products and processes within the Hotel.
- Ability to complete attendants report including simple addition skills.
- Ability to operate a vacuum cleaner.
- Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
- Ability to maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance.
