Job Description
The Grounds Maintenance Associate III will be overseeing day-to-day park operations including staff management general parks maintenance and equipment upkeep and repair. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing developing and implementing in-house training related to grounds and addition this position will inspect parks to ensure they meet safety and maintenance standards.

Essential Duties

Prioritizing and assigning work to direct reports providing training and guidance as needed
Approving time for direct reports and ensuring staff follows policies and procedures
Conducting performance evaluations
Making recommendations in hiring terminating and disciplinary actions
Completing accident and personal injury reports
Participating in budget preparation and monitoring of expenditures
Creates purchase orders for materials needed in daily operation
Performs monthly inspections of assets
Creates service requests for plumbing electrical and carpentry needs
Maintains and verifies equipment inventory.

Other Job Requirements/Information

This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours weekends and/or holidays.

Grade
The grade for this position is B22(2). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GEDAND
Three years of grounds maintenance experience including one year of lead experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
Valid drivers license
