Position Summary
The primary function of the Purchasing Analyst is to provide analytical support to all areas of the Purchasing department. The individual will improve the Purchasing department performance through accurate and timely pricing information and analysis of purchasing/pricing data. He or she will work closely with the Purchasing coordinator and the Accounting and IT department to improve/redesign current pricing and tracking processes. The employee will provide support and help manage the product code consolidation project as well as keep all commodity codes organized for all products. The individual must be self-motivated willing to learn and adapt to new situations and focused on the needs of the GMS locations.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $82900.00 to $107800.00 annually. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including but not limited to the position being offered location education training and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Depending on the role associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs commissions profit-sharing programs car allowance or automobile and fuel program and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
