RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud private edition is one of the key deployment options for our customers cloud transformation. It provides a comprehensive cloud infrastructure and managed service offerings to our customers as an essential part of the overall Cloud Strategy of SAP. Under RISE with SAP SAP allows customers to run their SAP S/4 HANA and other SAP applications in a managed private cloud environment either in SAPs own datacentres IaaS Hyperscalers SAP Premium Suppliers or in customers own existing datacentres.

Within the Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) Board area the mission of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Delivery organization is to run and operate SAPs private cloud offering. The Enhanced Operation Service is part of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery organization. This is a dedicated team which will focus on leading and optimizing strategic customers end-to-end delivery and operation model during the customers cloud transformation journey.

What youll build
You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality day-to-day service delivery by defining tracking and meeting ambitious KPIs and SLAs.
You will provide advanced technical expertise in database technologiesparticularly HANAwhile supporting HANA/ASE/MSSQL environments.
You will handle major incidents troubleshoot service failures manage downtime scenarios and also working on customers landscape to bring the performance stability to their landscape
You will collaborate across teams to streamline processes enhance automation and deliver proactive operations services along with effective alert-reduction programs.
Your work will directly impact safeguarding system reliability through proactive monitoring incident management and comprehensive root-cause analysis.
You will manage and prevent escalations by taking proactive steps and driving initiatives that boost operational resilience and customer satisfaction. Also perform a thorough root cause analyses and deliver corrective and preventive action plans for outages and performance issues.

What youll bring
You bring over 10 years of experience in Technically skilled in Database Technologies like HANA/ASE/MSSQL with expert level knowledge in HANA
You demonstrate the ability to diagnose system issues effectively using logs traces and alert outputs supported by strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
You will bring in Continuous Improvement Initiatives to address customer pain points and enhancements in the Service Delivery
You have experience implementing preventive measures and stabilizing complex SAP environments to ensure consistent performance and reliability. A solid understanding of Linux/Unix and networking fundamentals further strengthens your technical foundation.
Additionally you bring experience in problem management and structured root-cause analysis methodologies enabling you to drive continuous improvement and long-term operational stability.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 142000 - 192000 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role which involves global interactions with SAP entities as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
