EY GDS Assurance General Operations Staff / Associate

The Assurance practice at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) provides comprehensive support to EYs client-serving teams worldwide spanning a diverse range of industry sectors such as financial services manufacturing and technology. This is achieved by assembling the optimal mix of multidisciplinary professionals who possess deep sector knowledge and specialized expertise in their respective fields.

The opportunity:

As a key member of the Operations team you will play a crucial role in providing support for various functions throughout all Assurance sectors and geographical regions. Being this team you play a pivotal support link between the business and various auxiliary teams including Facilities Technology Talent Finance Procurement and the Crisis Management Team among others.

To enhance the employee experience the team meticulously addresses key elements of policies communication and SOPs for EY-specific tools streamlining fundamental processes to alleviate the burden of time-sensitive tasks. Additionally the team manages its own time-critical operations consistently striving to bolster collaboration and foster greater uniformity.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other Operations team members on day-to-day activities.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with support teams such as Facilities Security Transport Procurement and Talent in your GDS base location.
• Escalation Point: Serve as the first level of escalation for facility transport and security matters at the location.
• Timely Reporting: Generate daily monthly quarterly and ad hoc reports within specified deadlines.
• Leadership Support and Event Management: Assist with logistics for leadership visits and in-house events.
• Procurement Handling: Manage the procurement process for Assurance including purchase orders billings and reconciliations.
• Operations and Mobility Activities: Manage both structured and ad-hoc general operations and mobility tasks.
• Crisis Management Support: Provide assistance during crisis management events in house activities and awareness initiatives.
• Policy Knowledge and Employee Concerns: Should have basic knowledge of policies and address employee concerns.
• Confident Interaction: Interact confidently with leaders and other support teams.

• Effective Communication: Proficient in both written and verbal English.
• Pressure Handling: Capable of performing under tight timelines and pressure.

• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
• Excel Proficiency: Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and the Office 365 platform.
• Data Insight and Formulas: Able to present data insights using Excel formulas.
• Continuous Learning: Self-driven and open to exploring new knowledge.

Qualifications required to be eligible for the position.

• Graduate with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred experience in general operations office administration vendor management or the travel industry.
