Albany Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Blueprint / Disassembly Technician
Ideal Candidate should have strong mechanical background as this role is critical to the repair process and requires accuracy attention to detail and a solid understanding of vehicle systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complete vehicle disassemblyand reassemblyfor accurate repairs
- Identify all collision-related damage (visible and hidden)
- Create detailed accurate repair plans and parts lists
- Work closely with estimators technicians and management
- Ensure OEM repair procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical background (automotive diesel or similar)
- Collision repair experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand repair procedures and diagrams
- Familiarity with OEM guidelines and repair methods
- Experience with estimating or blueprinting software is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous collision technician or mechanical technician experience
- Knowledge of structural suspension and safety systems
- I-CAR certifications a plus (not required)
