Patient Intake Representative Northern Ohio Imaging Center (PRN)

This is a PRN As Needed Position

Job Summary

Processes of scheduling pre-registration insurance verification. A thorough understanding of the health care revenue cycle with excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to achieve the positions over all objectives.

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to read write and perform mathematical calculations at a level normally acquired through completion of high school education.
Demonstrates typing speed at 35-wpm necessary accuracy is essential.
Familiarity with personal computers and prior registration experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skill both verbal
and written.
Completion of medical terminology course is preferred.

Working Conditions

Normal office or patient care environment with little exposure to noise dusts temperature and the like.
Close attention to detail 90% of time
Rarely (less than 6% of time) exposed to adverse conditions

Reports to assigned Manager/Director
