The Mission

Financial Markets (FM) is the Banks gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of INGs clients with products services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.

The FM> Tribe is the change delivery department of Financial Markets (FM) and Group Treasury (GT) with a purpose to realize our clients ambitions by connecting them to global markets providing financial solutions and delivering long-lasting value.

You will be part of a team of IT Integrators in the Financial Markets and Group Treasury Tribe (FM>). The IT Integrator is a senior role in the tribe. As an IT Integrator youll manage and coordinate large initiatives bridging different parties to achieve results. Your success is not based on your hierarchical position but based on your strong communication and collaboration skills your results delivered and your added value for ING and for the teams you work with.

Your day to day

Even if youll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our offices garden your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. The following will be the main responsibilities of the role:

• You drive complex changes and have a strong delivery drive to get things done

• You demonstrate understanding of IT concepts and have significant knowledge of the IT landscape

• You define and align the roadmaps between squads and other stakeholders in the organization and thoroughly manage dependencies

• You set up a clear governance and reporting structure to steer the progress of many different stakeholders and teams

• You guide and challenge squads and other stakeholders when making implementation choices

• You understand the power of truly cross-functional teams and can work alongside engineers senior managers and colleagues from different disciplines to create a common goal and get the most out of all the expertise at the table.

• You manoeuvre comfortably through complex policy process and people-related organizational dynamics.

• You identify and remove obstacles in a timely manner.

• You coordinate the end-to-end-tests and activation of the new IT solutions.

• You are flexible and you easily adapt to a changing environment.

• You work independently ensuring that the implications of testing decisions are thoroughly considered and addressed.

• You continuously improve the working practices of the tribe while providing a positive and safe environment for our people to learn from their mistakes and from each other.

What youll bring to the team

• Experience:

  • 5 years of Technical Project Management or Solution Architecture or Engineering delivery experience

• Required knowledge:

  • Mandatory:

    • Proven track record in managing complex delivery initiatives involving inter-component dependencies and a variety of stakeholders

    • Experience with Agile methodology and with Project management methodologies

    • Strong communication skills and presentation skills

    • Ability to build partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

    • Experience in refining features and executing roadmaps

    • Organizing is your strong suit you always work in a very structured way

    • Strong analytical skills proactivity and creative problem-solving mindset

    • Results-oriented always striving for maximal consumer value as early as possible

    • Pragmatic and efficient approach while keeping the focus on the set goals

    • Excellent leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written) to manage cross-functional international teams

    • Understanding of software architecture concepts (COTS products multi-tier architectures microservices architecture) database systems and infrastructure designs (high availability resilience)

    • Experience with documentation tools and test execution tracking tools

  • Nice to have:

    • Experience in the Financial Markets domain or statistical analysis

    • Experience with large system migrations (like major versions upgrades)

    • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and large scale systems integrations

    • Experience in test strategy definition and execution

    • Experience or affinity with IT Security concepts

• Foreign languages: English (excellent level)

• Education: Completed education at Bachelor/Master level
