We are seeking an experienced and highly driven IIT/JEE Physics Teacher to prepare students for JEE Main and JEE Advanced through rigorous conceptual instruction advanced problem-solving and exam-focused strategy training. The role demands deep subject mastery mathematical rigor and the ability to train students to handle multi-concept high-difficulty problems under strict time constraints.
The educator will play a critical role in building students physics thinking accuracy and confidence translating complex physical systems into solvable mathematical models aligned with JEE expectations.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Deliver complete JEE Physics syllabus coverage with depth appropriate for both Main and Advanced levels.
Ensure measurable improvement in student performance across mock exams including percentile gains speed and accuracy.
Design and deliver high-quality problem sets fully worked model solutions and exam strategy workshops.
Prepare students for method-based scoring.
Core Teaching & Academic Responsibilities
Map physics topics to the JEE syllabus categorizing content by frequency and weightage.
Teach and reinforce core areas:
Conduct daily and weekly problem drills concept reinforcement sessions and application-based discussions.
Integrate advanced mathematics into physics instruction including:
Run sectional tests and full-length mock exams under simulated JEE conditions.
Perform item-level analysis of tests maintaining detailed student error logs and progress trackers.
Create stepwise answer keys emphasizing method clarity and error-proofing.
Train students in exam writing techniques especially for JEE Advanced subjective-style responses.
Use collaborative problem-solving and peer instruction for challenging conceptual areas.
Develop and maintain progressive difficulty question banks.
Provide:
Responsibilities Assessments & Exam Tracking
Design and administer sectional tests cumulative tests and full-length JEE-style mock exams aligned to Main and Advanced standards.
Ensure assessments reflect current JEE difficulty levels question typologies and marking schemes including partial-credit evaluation.
Conduct item-wise and concept-wise analysis of test results to identify misconceptions weak linkages and accuracy gaps.
Maintain individual student performance trackers monitoring score trends speed accuracy and topic-wise mastery.
Categorize student errors into conceptual procedural calculation and time-management errors and plan corrective interventions.
Develop and update progressive question banks calibrated to increasing difficulty and exam realism.
Run timed assessment simulations to train students for exam pressure and optimal pacing.
Generate diagnostic reports after mocks with clear action points and revision priorities for students.
Track percentile movement and rank projections across mock cycles to evaluate readiness for JEE Main and Advanced.
Identify high-potential students for Advanced-track enrichment and at-risk students for targeted remediation.
Requirements
Masters degree in Physics.
Teaching qualification - .
Minimum 5 years teaching experience.
5 years of experience teaching grades XI & XII for JEE Mains & Advance.
This is a full-time on-campus role requiring complete professional commitment.
Concurrent employment freelance work or private tuition during the academic year is not permitted.
Pursuing any regular academic programme (full-time or part-time) that interferes with school responsibilities is not permissible.
Candidates must be able to dedicate their time fully and professional focus to the school and students.
