Job Summary
JANITOR
AUBURN HILLS MI
Job Function:
Were seeking a reliable and detail-orientedFULL TIME JANITORto join our this role youll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in commercial buildings. Youll work independently to ensure the facility remains neat organized and in top condition providing a welcoming environment for all occupants. Carpet care experience preferred!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain common areas restrooms offices and other building spaces.
- Sweep mop and vacuum floors; clean carpets as necessary.
- Empty trash cans and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces including windows walls and furniture.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Ensure that all cleaning is done in compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Carpet Cleaning
Minimum Qualifications :
- Reliable transportation.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Floor care experience is preferred but not required.
Optional Qualifications :
- Floor care experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous janitorial custodial or commercial cleaning experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend stoop kneel crouch and reach frequently
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools when necessary
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping mopping wiping and vacuuming
