Senior Helpers McKinney is urgently hiring a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver inAllen Plano McKinney and surrounding areas. This position is open for 8-12 hours of shift role in the healthcare/medical industry and the individual will be responsible for providing assistance and care to senior clients in their homes. The main objective of this role is to improve the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist clients withActivities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing dressing transferring (getting in and out of bed or a chair) walking toileting and eating.
• Support clients withInstrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as managing medications and finances meal preparation housekeeping and laundry ensuring they can live independently.
• Providecompassionate person-centered caretailored to each clients unique needs.
• Accompany clients toappointments errands and community activities fostering independence and engagement.
• Engage clients inmeaningful conversations and activitiesto encourage socialization mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Ensure adherence tocompany policies procedures and caregiving guidelinesto maintain a high standard of care.
• Communicate effectively withclients families and healthcare professionalsto ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Respect and maintain client privacy and confidentialityin accordance with HIPAA and company standards.
• Maintainaccurate and timely documentationof all services provided ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional verifiable experienceworking with seniors
• Valid drivers licenseandcurrent car insurance
• Reliable personal transportationfor client visits and errands
• Social Security Card(required for employment verification)
• Compassionate patient and dependablewith a strong work ethic
• Passionate about helping othersand making a positive impact in seniors lives
• Excellent communication and customer service skillsto engage with clients and their families
• A desire to give back to the communityand support seniors in maintaining their independence
