Job Summary
Location
Sandviken SwedenR&D within Strategic Research atAlleimahas generated extensive experimental dataparticularly corrosion data for ourcorrosionresistantalloysdating back to the 1960s. While data produced after the 1990s has been documented and stored digitally earlier results exist only in paper format and have not yet been digitized.
Your role
The purpose of this assignment is to transfer historical experimental data from hardcopy documents into a structured digital format.This includesidentifyingsuitable digital formats that support future data analysis and potential use in machine learning applications.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is in the 2nd or 3rd year of their bachelors degree in corrosion science/technology/engineering materials science data analyticsor similarand who hasknowledgein data analytics machine learningorAIand has worked with Microsoft 365 and/or Python.Since the work as a summer technologist can mean that you collaborate with other units we prefer that you have good oral and written skills in both Swedish and English.
Yourpersonalityis important;we are looking for a person who is curious and eager to learn with strong analytical abilities and a natural interest in exploringnew ideasand solutions. You are open-minded and willing to challenge existing ways of thinking while also being attentive to details and committed to delivering high-quality work. Extent
The summer technology period covers8 weeksand begins as soon as the studies are finished for the summer.
The location is Sandviken. We atAlleimacan help with accommodation in Sandviken during this time that you work as a summer technologistandtheselectionwill take place continuously during the application period.
