What youll do
- Create accurate 2D shop drawings and 3D models for architectural cast stone components.
- Review architectural/structural drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate drawing revisions and approvals with production teams architects project managers and general contractors
- Track submittals schedules and deliverables to keep projects moving smoothly from sign-off to fabrication
- Help resolve design and fabrication questions with clear communication and smart detailing

- Strong attention to detail (you catch the things others miss)
- Comfortable interpreting construction drawings and collaborating across teams
- Organized and deadline-awareyou can manage multiple drawings/revisions at once
- Drafting/modeling experience (list your preferred software to attract the right applicants)
Qualifications & Skills
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge and Familiarity with CAD.
- Experience: If you are a recent graduate from a CAD program please apply. Ideally we are looking for someone with 5 years of drafting experience who stays up to date with the latest CAD software including new software in construction masonry or precast.
- Technical Skills: Ability to visualize complex 3D geometry from 2D sketches and perform precise mathematical calculations. Exceptional accuracy in dimensions and material specifications.
- Education: Associates degree in Drafting Architecture or a related field preferred.

- Required: Associates Degree in Architecture or Drafting
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Drafting
Licensing/Registration/Certification:
- Required: Drivers License
- Preferred: None
Experience:
- Required: Associates degree in drafting or one year of minimum experience in a CAD Drafting environment.
- Preferred: Three years experience in a CAD Drafting environment with experience in the precast / cast stone industry.
Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
- Demonstrate the proven ability to work with and contribute to teams.
- Must have the ability to respond to inquiries and/or complaints from vendors customers or members of the community.
- Must have a good mathematical aptitude good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of specifications and information furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Salary Description
$65000-$75000.00
