Contract Surety Bonds Underwriting Manager
Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the underwriting of contract surety bonds ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients brokers and other stakeholders.
- Analyze financial statements credit reports and other relevant information to assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies to support business growth and client satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the underwriting team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance business administration or a related field.
- Extensive experience in contract surety bond underwriting with a proven track record of success.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess complex financial and credit information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
