Skill Stork International School invites applications from experienced and knowledgeable PGT History and Political Science Teachers to join our senior academic team. The role involves delivering engaging and concept-driven instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 9 to 12 with a focus on historical understanding political awareness critical thinking and exam preparedness.

The teacher is expected to help students connect historical events and political concepts to contemporary society while developing strong analytical writing and interpretative skills required for board examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons in History and Political Science for Grades 9 to 12
  

• Explain concepts with clarity depth and contextual relevance
  

• Develop students critical thinking analytical ability and answer-writing skills
  

• Encourage discussion debate and interpretation of events and concepts
  

• Prepare students effectively for school assessments and board examinations
  

• Design and implement formative and summative assessments
  

• Maintain awareness of board exam paper patterns marking schemes and assessment criteria
  

• Stay updated with curriculum revisions and assessment guidelines
  

• Maintain accurate lesson plans assessments and academic records
  

• Support students through remedial and enrichment activities
  

• Collaborate with department members and academic leadership
  

• Communicate effectively with parents and the school community

Eligibility and Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of total teaching experience compulsory
  

• Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching History and Political Science in Grades 9 10 11 & 12.
  

• Preferred: Experience as a CBSE board examiner or evaluator
  

• Positions are open to experienced candidates only
