Healthcare Recruiter (Contract 1099)

Based in beautiful Sarasota Florida this role puts you at the heart of a fast-paced healthcare staffing firm with a proven track record and nationwide impact. While many of our team members work in a hybrid capacity we strongly prefer candidates who can be in the office regularlyespecially during onboarding and ramp-up.
Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities
Work standard office hours: MondayThursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Source qualified candidates using modern recruiting tools including resume databases job postings and a centralized ATS
Conduct phone interviews to assess qualifications motivations and job fit
Submit high-quality candidates with detailed profiles to Account Managers
Coordinate interviews and support the hiring process alongside the Account Manager
Prepare candidates for interviews and debrief afterward
Manage offer negotiations and facilitate smooth onboarding
Provide follow-up after placement to ensure continued satisfaction and retention
Cultivate new client relationships through outbound business development efforts
Maintain and grow existing client relationships by providing consistent communication and value
Partner with organizations to understand hiring needs establish trust and deliver strategic recruiting support
Stay informed on recruitment technologies healthcare industry trends and digital engagement best practices
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience required
Healthcare recruiting experience preferred
Agency staffing experience preferred
Business development experience strongly preferred
Experience or familiarity with AI tools in recruiting is a plus
Social media and marketing experience preferred
Strong phone presence interpersonal skills and work ethic
In-office availability in Sarasota FL strongly preferred; hybrid flexibility available after ramp-up
Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
Organized self-motivated and goal-oriented
Comfortable using modern recruiting technologies and CRM/ATS platforms
