Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Free Standing Emergency Room Registered Nurse (FSED ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker decision-maker and multitasker able to adapt to the fast-paced and unpredictable environment of the emergency department. You will provide nursing care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill cases collaborating with a supportive team to ensure exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Triage assess and treat patients of all ages.
Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
Develop strategies and alternatives to achieve patient care goals.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously prioritizing patient needs.
Provide follow-up care instructions and make appropriate referrals.
Coordinate with physicians and other departments maintaining patient safety and focus at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience (critical care experience accepted).
Active Florida RN license or multistate/compact RN license; must obtain Florida RN license if relocating.
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to start.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of start.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor certification within 90 days of start.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor certification within 90 days of start.
