We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at Miami Correctional Facilityin Bunker Hill Indiana.

The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility through outpatient treatment addiction recovery education and group counseling.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; bachelors degree in a human services or related field preferred
Must have Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADAC II) certification or higher (CADAC II LAC LAC-A LSW) or be actively working toward attaining a CADAC II within two (2) years of hire
May substitute higher education for experience but must hold a four-year college degree and possess a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance

Available Shift: full-time days Monday-Friday
