Devereux Arizonas Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides intensive 24-hour support for youth aged 7 to 17 who are experiencing serious emotional behavioral and mental health a structured therapeutic environment we combine clinical expertise with compassionate trauma-informed care to help youth heal grow and build a brighter future. The RTC features dormitories an accredited K-12 school food services 24/7 on-site nursing and specialized therapy and clinical services.
The Medical Care Coordinator works cooperatively with clinical operations medical and administrative staff on the overall coordination of individual care in regard to their medical needs while in treatment. Job duties include: coordinating and transporting individuals to and from external medical appointments communicating and documenting the medical needs for the individual back to the internal team and working closely with Nursing and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care. The Medical Care Coordinator is a forward facing role ensuring visitors feel welcome their needs are met and is responsive to requests and inquiries from internal and external customers. Other duties include answering phones responding to inquiries and forwarding messages to the appropriate individuals in a timely fashion providing coverage for other administrative roles as needed (program/department specific) and is supportive of people with diverse backgrounds interacting with them in a way that ensures they feel safe and accepted.
Pay Range: $20/hr - $22/hr
Schedule: Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm and Wednesday 10:30am - 7:00pm
