Key Responsibilities
Lead mentor and support aircraft maintenance engineers and technical staff assigned to the Bell 412 fleet
Foster a strong safety and quality culture grounded in professionalism accountability and attention to detail
Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related operational matters
Ensure standardized maintenance practices across aircraft and operating bases
Promote consistent application of approved maintenance procedures documentation and technical data
Oversee aircraft reliability defect trends and proactive technical risk management
Provide leadership input into maintenance planning scheduling and aircraft availability
Coordinate planned maintenance inspections and defect rectification to support operational readiness
Support effective parts tooling and logistics planning for a geographically dispersed operation
Participate in internal reviews audits and safety investigations related to maintenance activities
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reliability efficiency and risk reduction
Encourage reporting learning and transparent communication within the maintenance team
Work closely with flight operations dispatch training and engineering support teams
Provide technical input into operational decisions defect rectification and aircraft utilization
Support incident reviews and ensure maintenance lessons learned are communicated and embedded
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive hands-on and leadership experience maintaining medium twin-engine helicopters (Bell 412 strongly preferred)
Strong background in EMS / air ambulance or other high-availability mission-critical operations
Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams or providing senior technical oversight
Sound technical judgement with the ability to balance operational demands and aircraft integrity
Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced operational environment
Ability to work effectively in a bilingual (French/English) workplace
