Job Description

Under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy and licensed pharmacists our Certified Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in ensuring safe accurate and timely medication services for patients.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and medication dispensing

  • Collect input and verify prescription refill and patient data

  • Prepare labels and routine prepacked medications

  • Receive stock and organize pharmaceutical supplies

  • Perform essential clerical support to keep operations running smoothly

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience: 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred

  • Licensure: Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina or obtain registration within 6 months of hire
