Position/Location Specific Information:

• FormulationTechnician 3rdShift

• This position is based out of our Grand Island NY site withinBioProductionGroup.

• Competitive Pay: $21/hr; shift differential

• Hours:Sunday 10:30pm- Friday 7am

What will you do

• Use of equipment that includes mixers mills blenders pumps filtration systems packaging and laboratory equipment.

• Weigh measure and check raw materials with theassistanceof a computer interface toassurebatches manufacturedcontainaccuratematerials and quantities.

• Calibrate andoperatemanual semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.Identifyand conduct basictroubleshooting forequipment.

• Follow all safe practices policies standard operating procedures and work instructions in controlled environments up to and including classified clean rooms.

• Complete andmaintaincompliance with the Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.

• Completemoderately complex tasksrelated tomanufacturingof cell culture media. Perform related duties asto meetthe businessgoals and requirements.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is.

• Formal training in Lean 5S or manufacturing processes is preferred.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment ispreferred.

• 1 yearsofexperience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment ispreferred.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

• General understanding of technical mechanical and machinery equipment is preferred. Basic computer skillsare.

• Strong attention to detail forcomplexinstructions and documentation whilemaintainingquality output.Demonstratedproficiencyin multiple processes in a fast-paced work environment.

• Perform basic math verbal written and oral communication withteam.

• Ability to push pull lift and move up to 50 pounds and may beto stand for extended periods of time while performing duties. Ability to squat bend and reach different items to complete assigned tasks.

• Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including work uniform steel toe shoes hair net beard guard (when) safety glasses and gloves. PPE may also include a bump cap face shield and full/half-face respirators.

• Availability to work overtime and flexible shift patterns.
