Identify trends and/or process improvements and take ownership of all operations-focused tasks for that process(s) including daily work outsourcing and auditing. Leverage deep expertise to work collaboratively across internal operations teams and with GE Businesses to resolve issues.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality delivery of multiple payroll & time processes and service to the employees and timely connecting with GEV metrics and vendor KPIs
- Develop and manage the ongoing advancement of the team including strong development plans
- Drive strong performance management in the team through clear expectations priority setting frequent touchpoints and feedback
- Champion training and induction processes for new team members and role changes; coordinate and implement training to effectively meet team needs
- Drive a culture of service excellence within the team; promote Best in Class customer service with a LEAN mindset
- Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements within assigned processes work closely with cross functional teams to proposing process improvements to reduce waste & manual work align to global standards and increase productivity
- Working with payroll vendor on regulation change implementation testing and execution and final level checks to ensure timely execution of the change.
- Leverage metrics to identify trends or problems to maintain and improve performance levels
- Measure end-customer satisfaction; develop action plan to mitigate operational risks or resolve escalated issues
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within assigned processes; work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions taking into consideration a broader functional context.
- Develop strong working relationships within the HR community and across peer groups to ensure effective communication and influence decisions accordingly.
- Develop close and effective relationships with our Payroll strategics vendors through strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication
- Drive GE Vernovas high standards of ethics and compliance within the team
- Drive and enhance employee engagement
Required Qualifications
Based on a Bachelors degree or a similar educational background you have gained a broad experience in HR Operations/Service Delivery in multi-national companies or large corporation roles
Minimum 5 years of experience in direct people leadership
Fluency in regional languages and/or English knowledge both verbal and written
Significant prior professional work experience with demonstrated achievement and leadership in Payroll and solid understanding of HR Benefits and Payroll Systems
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrated experience in making strategic decisions and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders
- Ability to energize and lead and drive change in complex matrix goal-driven team-orientated service organizations
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and coaching leadership talent and promoting an inclusive/diverse workforce
- Proficiency in HR Payroll & Benefits systems (ex. Workday) and technologies
- Experience managing third party providers
- Solid understanding of applicable regional legislative programs/processes
- Demonstrated success managing projects and/or implementing process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and clear-thinking skills; ability to identify trends and implement process improvements
- Comprehensive understanding of and ability to assimilate regulatory and compliance
- Demonstrated organizational skills attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to present data in a clear concise and articulate manner
- Proven record of managing metrics including analysis identifying trends and making timely decisions
- Cultural awareness & sensitivity: ability to flex style to suit differing cultural norms
- Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges
- Ability to drive process improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel)
