  • Hybrid role 3 day in the offic and 2 day from home

  • Microsoft or Google Suites including spreadsheet creation and basic formulas is necessary.

  • SAP/ERP knowledge is preferred.

  • Requires strong soft skills including communication organization and teamwork to thrive in a complex organization.

The Divisional Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for performing procedures and complying with policies to ensure the accuracy of the Regional Companys hardgoods and gas inventories. This role drives accurate and timely inventory management and reporting. Key responsibilities include coordinating with Regional Inventory Control for inventory cycle counts conducting variance analyses and determining and recommending corrective actions.

  • Mindset and Work Ethic: Possess a strong client service mindset be detail and multi-task oriented self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision to surface issues and drive solutions.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational team-building and people skills with the ability to navigate a complex matrixed organization and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Technical Proficiency: Critical experience with Microsoft and/or Google Suites (including building spreadsheets creating formulas and graphs) along with the ability to understand and integrate new technologies into operations.

  • Education and Core Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and some inventory management experience are mandatory.

  • Technical Proficiency: Critical experience with Microsoft and/or Google Suites (including building spreadsheets basic formula creation and graph creation). Must have the ability to understand and integrate new technologies into day-to-day operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry and System Experience: Industry experience or knowledge of Airgas business and its production/distribution network is preferred. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is also a plus.
