Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner Specialist Safeguarding to join our dedicated team and lead on complex safeguarding cases.

About the Role

• Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding to colleagues across Childrens Services.
• Lead on complex cases ensuring robust risk assessments and effective safety planning.
• Support and mentor social workers promoting best practice and continuous professional development.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding.
• Contribute to policy development and service improvement initiatives.

About You

• Qualified social worker with current registration (SWE or equivalent).
• Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Advanced knowledge of legislation statutory guidance and best practice.
• Strong leadership communication and analytical skills.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
