Responsibilities
Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking a fellowship-trained board-certified Infectious Disease Physician to join a growing and collaborative clinical team in Canton Georgia. This position offers a balanced inpatient consultative and outpatient clinic schedule within a nationally recognized debt-free health system known for clinical excellence and physician support.
Position Highlights
Full-time Infectious Disease physician opportunity
Inpatient consultative services and outpatient clinic schedule
Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment
Supportive hospital leadership and system resources
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive infectious disease consultation for hospitalized patients
Manage and treat patients in an outpatient infectious disease clinic setting
Collaborate with medical and surgical specialists across the hospital
Participate in infection prevention antimicrobial stewardship and quality initiatives
Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and patient-centered care
- Comfortable building outpatient clinic volume
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Infectious Disease fellowship
Board Certified in Infectious Disease
Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
