Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Position Type: Full-Time Acute Care Hospital
Position Overview
A large patient-centered acute care hospital in Central Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is ideal for both experienced technologists and new graduates offering the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with trauma and comprehensive stroke services.
Available Shifts
Exact hours will be discussed during the interview process
Day Shift Rotating weekends
Night Shift Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate diagnostic X-rays as ordered by providers while adhering to radiation safety standards (ALARA)
Prepare transmit and archive imaging studies for radiologist interpretation
Room patients obtain and record vital signs and collect patient history
Assist patients with mobility transfers specimen collection and exam preparation
Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and ensure adequate supply inventory
Transport patients safely as needed throughout the facility
Provide compassionate patient-focused care in a collaborative team environment
Required Qualifications
No prior experience required new graduates are welcome
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification required
Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of start
