We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focusedCustom Car & Trailer Advisor to guide customers through custom vehicle and trailer projects at 228Customs & Machine. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the shop helping design upgrades explain options manage expectations and ensure each custom build meets customer goals and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Consult with customers on custom car and trailer projects
Help customers select custom parts accessories and upgrades
Explain build options timelines and pricing clearly
Prepare detailed estimates work orders and invoices
Coordinate closely with technicians and fabricators
Provide progress updates and manage customer expectations
Inspect completed work with customers at delivery
Upsell appropriate custom options and accessories
Maintain accurate project and customer records
Qualifications & Experience
- MUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of trailer & performance shop modifications is a PLUS!!!!
- Knowledge of suspension wiring lighting wheels/tires hitches and accessories
- Experience with aftermarket parts and vendors
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in customer-friendly terms
- Sales experience or comfort discussing pricing and upgrades
- Organized detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Basic computer and shop management software skills REQUIRED
