Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team at a community-based acute care hospital. The CT Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography examinations while delivering compassionate patient-centered care. This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care with professionalism empathy and respect
Verify physician orders prior to performing CT examinations
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician instructions
Assist with and perform invasive procedures per protocol following radiologist guidance when applicable
Perform routine CT equipment warm-ups and operational checks
Ensure timely transmission of completed exams to the radiologist including call results
Maintain adequate stock of supplies at the beginning and end of each shift and notify leadership of supply needs
Perform venipuncture in accordance with established protocols
Accurately document patient information relevant to each examination
Ensure patient comfort safety and clear communication throughout the imaging process
Perform required computer and imaging system functions accurately
Identify and report equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start
Registered Radiographer (ARRT R); CT registry (ARRT-CT) preferred
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
