Position Title: RN Cardiac Neuro Tele (Med Tele)

Location: Sanford FL
Shifts Available: Days (Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary

The Cardiac Neuro RN provides patient-centered care for medical-telemetry cardiac and neurological patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment nursing diagnosis care planning intervention evaluation and health education. The RN administers medications and treatments as prescribed and promotes wellness health maintenance and illness prevention. This role prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction in a 27-bed unit caring for Med/Tele Neuro Cardiac Post-CAB MI and chest pain patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assess and document patient condition and responses to interventions

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based nursing practices

• Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions treatments and follow-up care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality patient care

• Ensure compliance with regulatory legal and hospital standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 12 years) Med-Surg / Telemetry RN acute care experience

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred

• Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days)

• Current BLS and ACLS Certification

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required within 30 days of employment
