Job Summary

Position Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Location - Sanford FL

Shifts Available:

Days (Rotating Weekends)
Nights (Rotating Weekends) Urgent Need

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable ICU RN to provide patient-centered care for critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments. The RN will make clinical judgments manage treatments autonomously and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Collect comprehensive patient data and analyze assessments to determine clinical needs
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Use clinical judgment to safely and effectively manage patient care
Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
Educate patients and families regarding medications procedures and treatments
Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the patients stay

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience in acute care
Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days)
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of start
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of start
ACLS Provider certification required within 6 months of start
PALS or PALS Instructor certification required within 6 months of start
