Job Summary
Locum - NP/PA - Emergency Medicine in Mt Pleasant MI
Join our esteemed medical facility in Mt Pleasant Michigan where we are building a Float Pool of providers for open PRN shifts. This practice emphasizes autonomy and comprehensive care with a close-knit team of dedicated health professionals. Youll work 10-hour shifts in our Emergency Department serving an average of 20 patients daily in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care to patients autonomously with physician consultation available.
- Manage patient flow in the Emergency Department during your shift from 11 AM to 9 PM.
- Collaborate with a team that includes 1 full-time NP and 2 PRN PAs.
- Conduct EKG interpretations and respond to house codes as necessary.
- Utilize the Cerner EHR system for documentation and patient records.
- Assist in managing any emergency cases and perform procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified NP/PA
- Strong background in Emergency Medicine
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage patient care effectively
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan NP/PA License
- ACLS and PALS certification
- DEA registration verification required at name clear
- Copy of NPDB self-query required within the last 30 days
