Job Summary

Substitute Occupational Therapist

JOB DESCRIPTION LINK

Substitute Occupational Therapists (OTs) at Special School District (SSD) support students by stepping into short- or long-term assignments across a variety of school this role youll help identify and reduce barriers to learning by providing school-based therapy aligned to each students individual needs. You may assist with assessments deliver interventions or support existing therapy goals developed by the students assigned OT. Your work helps ensure continuity of care and access to learning for students with diverse abilities.

Substitute OTs work during the school day with assignments varying in length and location across St. Louis County. This is an excellent opportunity for therapists seeking flexible school-based work without the demands of a full-time caseload. Whether youre looking to stay active in the field gain experience in a variety of school environments or support inclusive practices on an as-needed basis SSD welcomes your expertise.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors masters or clinical doctorate in occupational therapy required
  • Experience in pediatrics/school-based occupational therapy preferred

Certificates Licenses Registrations

  • Missouri Occupational License required
