Assistant Management Accountant EU OPEX

Leeds / Hybrid

We are looking for a motivated and conscientious Assistant Management Accountant to support our EUOpexFinance team with the preparationreviewand publication ofaccuraterelevantandtimelymanagement information. They will help to provide insight into business performance andassiststakeholders with decision making.

This would bea great opportunityfor someone studying towardsa formalaccountancy qualification such as AATCIMAor ACCA.

What Youll Do:

Support with the monthly financial close process ensuring all deadlines aremetand a consistent approach is applied.

Produceaccurateaccruals and prepayments.

Provide commentaryanalysisand insight into theOpexmonthly financials with a focus on EUOpex.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations across various entities within Europe.

Support the FP&A team by highlighting risks and opportunitiestothe monthly reforecast.

Identifyimprovements and efficiencies to theOpexreporting andmonth endprocesses.

Ad-hoc reporting and analysis asrequired.

What Youll Need:

Highly numerate andworkingtowards a qualification in accountancy such as AATACCAor CIMA.

Resourceful wellorganised highly dependableefficientand detail oriented.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.

Methodical and diligent with a willingness to work toward and manage tight deadlines.

Have a can-do attitude and work well within a team.
