Job Description:
Sovah ENT & Allergy isseekinga dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical services in our clinic. This role involves performing physical examsdiagnosingand treating Otolaryngologic conditions prescribing medicationsutilizingspecialized medical equipment and delivering health education to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making skills the ability tooperatein a fast-paced clinic setting and become proficient inmaintainingelectronic medical records.
Perform physical exams diagnoseconditionsand prescribeappropriate treatment. Utilize specialized onsite medical equipment including Tympanometry Direct Laryngoscopy and Nasal Endoscopy and Microscopy after training.
Makeappropriate referralsto other health care professionals and community resources.Obtain and review medical historyand other pertinent information todetermineindividual health needs.
Communicate effectively with employees and staff verbally and in writing.
Provide Advanced Life Support in medical emergencies andassistpatientsindistress until transfer toappropriatelevel of care.

Obtain Sovah Hospital privileges for performing History andPhysical forsurgeries.
Patient scheduled hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday thru Thursday with 8:30 to 12:00 on Fridays with administrative time Friday afternoon as needed.
See 18-24 patients a day depending on comfort levels and scheduling requests.
Job Requirements:
Masters Degree or Doctorate from an accredited family nurse practitioner program
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Minimal of one year of FNP experience preferred
Valid DEA license
Current BLS
