JOB DESCRIPTION:
Abbotts Electrophysiology division is at the forefront of transforming cardiac care through cutting-edge technologies that diagnose and treat abnormal heart rhythms. With a fast-growing portfolio that includes advanced mapping systems ablation catheters and remote monitoring solutions Abbott empowers clinicians to restore healthy heart function and improve patient outcomes.
Due to an internal move we are currently looking for a Clinical Development Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team and cover key accounts in the North UK region.
What youll do:
- Support strategic account plans with the Territory Manager and assist the sales team in driving trials and adoption of Abbott technology.
- Provide onsite technical support during installations and throughout trial phases.
- Deliver LMR and clinical project activities.
- Prioritise Tier 1 customer accounts with secondary focus on Tier 2.
- Develop and deliver tailored training programmes and product presentations; ensure smooth handover to local teams posttrial.
- Offer expert technical support to clinicians during Electrophysiology procedures and help onboard new centres.
- Contribute to EP product promotion education programmes clinical training and Abbott events.
- Maintain strong technical and clinical knowledge of Abbott products therapies and market dynamics.
- Monitor competitive landscape and share insights with Sales and Marketing.
- Keep CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) updated with visit notes and relevant account information.
What youll need:
- Clinical experienced in EP either in NHS or in the industry
- Degree preferably in Sciences or (Medical) Engineering
- Holds or at the final stages of obtaining IBHRE/EHRA accreditation
- Medical background is a plus
- Knowledge of the local healthcare market
- Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
- Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
- Entrepreneurial spirit willing to support Abbotts product technically and from a sales perspective
- Strong Communication skills: verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel
