About the School
St Catherines is a friendly warm and welcoming two form entry Catholic primary school with nurseries for 2 to 4 year olds on site. Teaching Assistant
We are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at St Catherines. This position is offered as one year contract initially and will commence in March/April 2026. Candidates should have experience of or a passion for working with SEND children and be willing to work across the whole primary age range.

Hours will be 8:30am - 3:45pm Monday - Friday Term Time Only

Candidates should have experience of or a passion for working with SEND children and be willing to work across the whole primary age range. You must have sound knowledge of how children learn and a number of strategies to encourage learning. You will need to be sensitive to the special needs of individual children and be able to work as part of a team. Previous experience of running intervention groups would be useful. Candidates will need excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
