Job Summary
Talen Energy is seeking a motivated IT Project Manager intern to playan important roleinsupporting the project team with theimplementation of our ETRM system.TheIT Project ManagerInternwill supporttheBusiness Relations Commercial Riskin planning coordinating andtrackingcompletion. This internship provides hands-on experience in project execution cross-functional collaboration and exposure to real-world project management processes.
What will you own
Assist ProjectLeadershipin tracking project schedules milestones and deliverables.
Support preparation of project documentation including meeting notes reports and status updates.
Collaborate with internal teams (CommercialRisk Accounting) to gather information and coordinate project tasks.
Participate in project meetings and document key takeaways and action items.
Assistinmaintainingproject tracking systems dashboards and reporting tools.
Support communication withbusiness and vendors as directed.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives andassistinidentifyingefficiency opportunities.
Complete ad-hoc assignments andprojectsassigned by the ProjectLeadership.
Required Skills:
Currently pursuing aBachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science or related field.
Strong organizational time management and attention-to-detail skills.
Demonstrated initiative responsiveness and willingness to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Teams).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
