What You Will Do

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the automation cell.
• Ensure the automation cell receives timely calibration visual checks load testing and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with external vendors for calibration and maintenance work including reviewing reports resolving discrepancies and tracking completion deadlines.
• Work closely with end users to register new MRO tools PMTE and lifting equipment; oversee calibration and load-test schedules; and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Keep up to date with OEM tool bulletins related to modifications updates or replacements.
• Partner with vendors to carry out required tool repairs or modifications.
• Maintain and update tool information within the ETMS and SAP systems.
• Comply with all EH&S policies and safety procedures.
• Contribute actively to EH&S Quality and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Possess a Diploma Higher NITEC NITEC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronics Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Have 25 years of experience working with automation equipment robotics or production machinery.
• Practical experience in diagnosing and resolving issues in automated systems including PLCs sensors actuators and control components.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings with basic drafting knowledge.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior background in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering is beneficial.
• Experience working with automation cells calibration processes and maintenance activities in an MRO setting is an added advantage.
