Job Summary

Trim laminated composite parts using trim fixtures cutters sanders and routers to ensure proper dimensions
Apply taper to edge
Perform assembly and detail operations procedures including drilling reaming counterboring countersinking installing hinges placing inserts deburring installing bushings and huck or pop rivets fasteners and related hardware
Apply solvent to clean stiffeners and apply promoter to prevent rust
Bond through the use of screws and adhesives detail components including ribs stiffeners and intercostals to larger components such as doors to fabricate aggregate part
Complete repairs of finished parts including cutting down or building up to proper thickness
Patch with fiberglass cloth
Remove improperly bonded ribs
Replace rivets and make stems flush
Inspect work verify dimensions tolerances with calipers pin gauges angles and scales
Record process data on router accurately

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
