The ideal candidate is a highly organized adaptable and customerfocused professional with strong computer skills including working knowledge of spreadsheet and wordprocessing programs and the ability to quickly learn and use inhouse maintenance management and campus event management systems. They possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with all levels of administration faculty staff contractors and the general public. With proven experience in customerserviceoriented environments they excel in highpressure and highprofile situations maintaining professionalism while multitasking and prioritizing multiple projects. This individual brings strong interpersonal abilities creativity and the capacity to relate well to individuals from diverse backgrounds perspectives and skill levels. They are comfortable using paging systems such as radios and walkietalkies as well as multiline phone systems and consistently deliver exceptional customer service through clear respectful and effective communication.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.
Equivalent to a bachelors degree in a related field and six months of related professional or technical experience required.
Proficient in various graphic design software programs including Adobe Suite package preferred.
