Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate MAZAK laser cutting machines
Load/unload raw materials and finished parts
Read and interpret blueprints work orders and CAD drawings
Select correct programs tooling and materials
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers micrometers tape measures)
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean
Follow all safety and quality standards
Work closely with supervisors programmers and quality teams
Qualifications
2 year experience operating MAZAK laser machines (2D or 3D)
Experience cutting steel stainless steel aluminum
Ability to read blueprints and measure tolerances
Basic knowledge of laser parameters (speed power focus)
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand bend and lift up to 50 lbs
