About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital

In response to the health care needs of a growing community in 1977 Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of Work

Under the direction of the site designated leader assigns and monitors the work of the Ultra sonographers to optimize quality and efficiency. Acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties to ensure department policies and imaging standards are met. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.

3-5 years clinical experience Ultrasound staff sonographer level preferred.

Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Must be registered in at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) at time of hire.
Additional registry within 1 year from hire.
Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross
