Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Heavy Loaders and Forklift Operators to join our warehouse and distribution team on a morning shift. This role involves material handling operating forklifts and other heavy equipment and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations. Candidates with backgrounds in warehouse distribution logistics or construction will excel in this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical awareness experience with warehouse systems and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM with the ability to work until 5:30 PM as needed
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload materials using forklifts clamp trucks pallet jacks RF scanners and other material-handling equipment
Complete order picking and fulfillment tasks accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Safely operate cranes and heavy machinery in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Assist with shipping and receiving including documentation and product handling
Perform material handling duties such as lifting stacking and organizing inventory
Support inventory control activities including cycle counts and quality checks
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Assist warehouse leadership with daily operational tasks as needed
Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse distribution shipping and receiving or construction environments
Forklift experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse and equipment operation
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems preferred
Ability to safely perform heavy lifting for extended periods
Experience with RF scanners order picking pallet jacks and related equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
Warehouse lead or supervisory experience is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
